    Changes at the Swan Foundation

Demand for the work of the Swan Foundation continues to increase whilst the environment for raising funds and supporting communities is changing fast. A simpler approach to supporting the communities we serve is needed and therefore we have made the decision to close the Foundation, but to continue its work and legacy through Swan Housing Association who we feel are best placed to do this work going forward.

The Swan Foundation are delighted to announce that they have received a generous donation of £4,000 from Devonshires, after Sharon Kirkham their Head of Securitisation presented the Swan Foundation’s Chair, Dinesh Visavadia and Swan Housing’s Executive Director of Operations, Sandra Fawcett with the cheque at Devonshires London Office.

Partners with Swan Foundation….

At Olive we have chosen the Swan Foundation as our charity partner for another year because we are passionate about the community projects they run. At a personal level, we are particularly interested in working with them to deliver on education, training and employment:

I had a challenging upbringing so I’m really excited about developing an apprenticeship scheme to provide employment prospects to young people who are disadvantaged, either socially or economically. In addition, we are offering continued support through our partnership and getting involved with fundraising as much as possible.”
